TO HOLD NOTHING, BUT EVERYTHING.
This series places the prong setting, traditionally treated as a secondary structure, at the centre of form. In conventional jewellery, the prong has been defined by the gemstone it supports and rarely considered on its own terms.

The work begins with three questions.
Firstly, is the hierarchy between centre and periphery as fixed as it appears?
Secondly, can a structure remain valid once the function it was designed for is gone?
Lastly, can an element that served as support take on the role of an independent subject?

When the gemstone is removed, the prong is freed from its task. It is no longer an accessory to something else, but a form that stands by itself, shaping meaning through its own structure and tension. This shift opens a small break in the usual order between function and form, main and auxiliary. Across nine rings, the series responds to these questions through the inversion of hierarchy, the loss of function, and the autonomy of form. At the point where familiar jewellery grammar is destabilised, the viewer is confronted with a final provocation: What we have long believed to be the centre, does it still remain the centre?
